As followers of Christ, we are called to be salt and light in the world, making a positive impact on society and reflecting God’s love and truth in all that we do. One meaningful way we can fulfill this calling is by participating in the democratic process and casting our votes in the upcoming election.
The Bible offers guidance and inspiration for us as Christians to engage in the civic duty of voting. Here are a few verses that remind us of our responsibility and the power of our voices: “For lack of guidance, a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.” By voting, we provide guidance and influence in shaping our nation’s path. (Proverbs 11:14). Your vote is a powerful instrument of change and a way to express your Christian values in the public arena.
Early voting time (in person)
Saturday, October 28th till Sunday, November 5th
Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
You don’t need to make an appointment.

God willing, we will be hosting the All Saints Day celebration Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 6-9 PM for the youth of the Angels Class through 8th grade.
The youth are highly encouraged to dress up as a Biblical figure and prepare 3 hints to share during the Who Am I trivia session.
For example, if you dress up as St. Mary, the clues may be:
1. I am the Daughter of Anna and Joachim
2. I went to live and serve in the temple when I was 3 years old and stayed until I was about 14 years old
3. I have one Son
If you need inspiration for the costumes, we recommend you take a look at the Hall of Saints located in church. Sunday School Teachers can also help provide ideas. For sample costumes, we have created a list of ideas from Amazon here: https://a.co/ccs1kOs
Costumes can also be purchased for Party City or other stores.
We look forward to celebrating with the youth! Please pray for the service.

It was a very difficult decision given that many people have worked so hard to get ready for our festival and have taken vacation time in order to be present and support and serve during these days but given the heavy rainfall and the high winds we are postponing the festival to the next weekend (9/30 – 10/1).
We appreciate all of your support and service and look forward to seeing you next weekend.
Please pray for the success of the festival.
Be safe in the Lord.
